Adult Outpatient Services

Adult Outpatient (AOP) provides individual therapy, family therapy, psycho-educational classes, and group therapy.  Treatment approaches offered may include cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and family systems therapy.

Also, co-occurring disorder (COD) services are available for those individuals with mental health and chemical dependency problems.  A certified chemical dependency specialist (CDP) who is also experienced in mental health provides or oversees these services.  Although COD services are provided through Adult Outpatient, these services are available to consumers in other adult programs.  Treatment focuses on abilities rather than disabilities, strengths rather than weaknesses and wellness rather than illness.

Other best practice and preferred treatment interventions are also available.  Treatment tends to be brief, intensive, solution focused and based on functional problems and consumer needs.  To a limited degree, treatment is available for those who require on-going maintenance, monitoring and support.

Masters prepared therapists, who are supervised by mental health professional provide these services.
